Netanyahu sets impossible, repetitive conditions for ending Gaza war
According to webangah News Agency, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that the war on Gaza will continue until “all objectives are achieved,” stating that Hamas’ surrender remains the only path to ending hostilities.
“This war comes at a heavy cost, but we won’t stop until we force Hamas to surrender,” Netanyahu declared.
the PM claimed 197 Israeli captives have been recovered so far, vowing: “We will bring them all back.” He acknowledged 38 bodies and 20 living captives remain in hamas custody.
Netanyahu also asserted Israeli forces may have killed senior Hamas official Mohammed al-Sanwar in Gaza. Regarding Yemen operations, he stated: “We’ve dealt heavy blows to the Houthis, but haven’t delivered our final word yet.”
The Israeli leader repeated unsubstantiated claims about Iran’s nuclear program while ignoring his regime’s own military arsenal: “We’re working to prevent Iranian uranium enrichment while maintaining our right to defend our existence.”
On potential agreements with Hamas, Netanyahu said he would consider temporary arrangements for captive returns but emphasized: ”I’ve ordered intensified attacks across Gaza until all areas become secure zones under our control.”
“our allies support us but express concerns about Gaza’s humanitarian crisis,” he admitted before adding: “I’m prepared to halt the war only when Israel’s security is guaranteed – which requires Hamas surrendering power, its leaders leaving gaza, and full disarmament.”
When questioned about attack intensity near Sderot and surrounding areas, Netanyahu referenced Operation Gideon’s Chariots: “Ask residents how their homes shake from bombardments – this is part of our campaign.”
The PM controversially blamed Biden administration arms export restrictions for israel’s failure to achieve total victory in Gaza. He also asserted exclusive authority over Shin Bet director appointments.
“We’ll continue fighting until hamas is destroyed, all captives return, and Gaza is fully disarmed,” Netanyahu stated. “Without military-political pressure, hostage recovery becomes unachievable.”
