Armed attack targets provincial government building in southern Syria
According to webangah News Agency, citing Qatari network Al Jazeera, the public relations director of the Jolani regime’s information ministry in syria stated that armed individuals stormed the Suwayda Governorate building while the governor was present, forcibly releasing a detainee.
The Jolani regime official added that the suspect was freed under armed threat and coercion.
The official claimed: “Imposing law enforcement and maintaining security in Suwayda Province is an irreversible decision.”
The official further stated: “the government will show no tolerance toward any attempts to disrupt security or undermine sovereign institutions.”
Al Arabiya network also reported, citing the Jolani regime’s information ministry, that separatist groups in suwayda have guaranteed the governor’s departure from the province.
