Hamas says Netanyahu is a war criminal pushing the region toward the abyss
In a statement reported by webangah News Agency, the Islamic Resistance Movement hamas described Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as a “criminal figure thirsty for massacres and genocide” whose actions are pushing the entire region toward collapse solely to serve his political interests.
Hamas stressed that Netanyahu’s recent remarks—claiming any temporary ceasefire agreement would quickly be followed by renewed military operations to implement what he calls the “Trump displacement plan”—demonstrate his intent to sabotage negotiations and eliminate opportunities for prisoner releases.
The movement asserted that Netanyahu’s explicit linking of war objectives to enforcing this forced displacement plan obligates the United States, currently mediating ceasefire efforts, to clarify its stance on what Hamas termed “genocidal expulsion crimes.”
Hamas further called on the international community to intervene against Israel’s brutal attacks on Gaza civilians and prosecute Netanyahu as a ”war criminal” perpetuating genocide, starvation policies, and forced displacement.
