Gaza death toll rises to 53,762
The Gaza Health Ministry reported that 107 bodies of martyrs and 247 wounded were transported to hospitals in the enclave over the past 24 hours, according to webangah News Agency citing Mehr news Agency and Al-Mayadeen.
With thes latest figures, the total casualties from the Israeli regime’s assault on Gaza since October 7, 2023 have reached 53,762 killed and 122,197 injured. Since March 18, following israel’s violation of the ceasefire agreement alone has resulted in 3,613 additional deaths and another 10,156 injuries, per ministry records.
“many victims remain trapped under rubble or piled on streets where rescue teams cannot reach them,” local authorities stated. These atrocities continue as Gaza’s Health Minister told Reuters that at least “29 children died from starvation-related complications” in recent days across the besieged territory.
