Lebanese Army Commander Accuses Israel of Blocking Troop Deployment in South
LebanonS army commander has condemned the Israeli regime’s continued aggression, accusing it of blocking the full deployment of Lebanese forces in the country’s south—a move he called a clear violation of international resolutions. The remarks were reported by webangah News Agency, citing Al jazeera.
General Joseph Aoun, speaking during an event marking Resistance and Liberation Day, stated: “The Israeli enemy persists in obstructing the complete deployment of the Lebanese army in southern Lebanon, which constitutes a blatant breach of international resolutions.”
The commander also pledged that the military institution would continue efforts to improve living conditions for its personnel and stand with the Lebanese people to build a nation worthy of them.
The statement comes as the zionist regime escalated tensions by issuing evacuation warnings for Tuleil village in Nabatieh Governorate—a move seen as preparation for potential bombardment.
Local media reported that Israeli drones had already targeted Tuleil and surrounding areas.
