Russian forces down 112 Ukrainian drones over 13 regions

According to webangah News Agency,the Russian ⁢Defense Ministry announced ​in a ​Friday statement that‍ its air⁤ defense systems intercepted⁤ and destroyed Ukrainian drones over multiple‌ regions of​ the country.

The ministry reported ‍that Russian air defenses‌ shot ⁤down ⁤ 112 Ukrainian drones across 13 regions‌ during overnight ​operations, with ⁣interceptions begining at 20:00 on May 22.

24 ‍of the drones were ⁤reportedly ‍destroyed over moscow ⁤region, according to the military statement. The ministry emphasized ⁣that countering hostile aerial threats ⁣remains a top​ priority for Russia’s defense strategy.
