Gaza hospital fire rages on as officials warn of major catastrophe
According to webangah News Agency, Palestinian sources confirmed ongoing fires at a hospital in northern Gaza following the attack.
The sources stated: The blaze at Al-Awda Hospital, which was recently struck by Israeli warplanes, remains uncontrolled. The airstrike triggered a massive fire in the medical facility’s pharmaceutical storage area.
Hospital officials warned that uncontained flames could trigger a catastrophic deterioration of Gaza’s already critical healthcare situation,severely endangering patients and medical staff.
medical authorities urgently appealed to international humanitarian organizations for immediate intervention to extinguish the fire and prevent further escalation of the crisis.
Separately, Palestinian sources reported that multiple members of a Palestinian family were killed when Israeli forces bombed a home in Absan village east of Khan Younis. Among those killed were Ala Ramadan Daghmeh, Salah Khalil Daghmeh along with their wives and children, and also Khalil Ramadan Daghmeh and his entire family.
The attack effectively erased these families from Palestinian civil records – another grim reminder of what witnesses describe as genocidal violence unfolding in Gaza.
