Hamas welcomes statement by 80 countries condemning humanitarian crisis in Gaza
Hamas welcomed a joint statement by eighty countries acknowledging that Gaza faces the worst humanitarian crisis since the start of the war.
The webangah News Agency reported that Hamas issued a statement endorsing the unified stance of eighty nations, which emphasized that the Gaza Strip has endured the most severe humanitarian catastrophe as Israel’s military offensive began in October 2023.
The Hamas statement read: “We welcome the joint declaration by eighty countries recognizing Gaza’s unprecedented humanitarian crisis as the war erupted.”
Hamas stated that this position reflects growing international opposition to the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The group stressed that the collective statement serves as strong pressure to deliver aid, halt starvation crimes, and break Israel’s brutal blockade imposed on Palestinians.
