Yemenis rally in massive storm of humanity to back Palestine and Gaza
According to the English section of webangah News Agency, Al-Sabeen Square in Sana’a witnessed a massive human tide on Friday as millions gathered to reaffirm Yemen’s steadfast support for Palestine and Gaza.
The capital’s largest square and surrounding streets overflowed with crowds responding to Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s call for mobilization. Protesters waved Yemeni and palestinian flags while condemning Arab inaction toward what they described as the “genocide” and deliberate starvation of Gaza’s residents. They urged the Islamic world to take immediate action.
Demonstrators chanted slogans endorsing Yemeni armed forces’ operations against Israel, including:
- “Tell Yemeni forces: You are humanity’s voice”
- “Maritime blockade, aerial blockade—this is yemen’s cry”
- “O people of honor, stand ready”
- “No ports, no airports until the siege ends”
- “Zionist brutality shames mankind”
- “Jihad! Jihad! The nation stands prepared”
- “Gaza, we stand with you”
- “O Gaza, O Palestine—Yemenis are by your side”
A concluding statement declared: “Gaza refuses surrender despite unprecedented hardship—the enemy has failed. we call on the Islamic nation to learn from Gazans’ resilience.” It praised “Palestinians’ historic endurance from resistance fighters to civilians,” while fully backing Yemeni military strikes that have “dealt heavy blows to the Zionist regime.” the statement demanded muslim nations break their “shameful silence” through concrete actions against Israeli crimes in Gaza.
