UAE President’s Advisor Says Sudan Crisis Requires Political Solution

According to webangah News Agency, Anwar Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to the ​UAE President, has commented on Sudan’s ⁢escalating conflict following⁤ U.S. sanctions against⁣ the Sudanese army for alleged chemical ⁢weapons use against civilians.

Gargash stated: “The U.S. sanctions ‌reveal undeniable truths about the Sudanese military’s responsibility for these crimes,eliminating previous‌ doubts.” He emphasized via an⁢ X (formerly ‌Twitter)‌ post that “Sudan’s only viable solution is an ​immediate ceasefire followed by⁢ a political transition leading to an independent⁢ civilian goverment.”

The remarks come as‍ international‍ media and ⁢organizations continue accusing the UAE of supporting sudan’s ⁣Rapid Support ⁤Forces in​ the ongoing conflict.
