Katz I decided to block Golan from entering military bases

Israeli politician Yair Golan’s‍ remarks on Gaza war spark outrage from regime’s defence minister.

According to webangah News Agency, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant‍ stated: “given Yair Golan’s behavior and his baseless accusations that our soldiers kill Palestinian children for entertainment, I’ve decided to bar him ⁤from military service and deny him access to all bases.”

Gallant added:⁣ “These risky statements‍ could be exploited by Israel’s enemies to prosecute ⁣our soldiers internationally. As the minister responsible for troop security, ‍I cannot ignore such conduct.”

The defense minister also‍ announced‌ support for new Knesset legislation that would allow stripping reserve‌ officers of their ranks for similar statements or behavior.

“People like Golan have no place in public⁢ life,” Gallant said,”and I expect everyone to condemn him.”

in response, Major General‍ (res.) Yair Golan – leader of the Democratic Party ⁢- reacted sharply: “the last time I wore uniform was on October 7⁤ when I went south to rescue ⁢civilians after your catastrophic security failure. While you keep groveling before Netanyahu and his propaganda⁢ machine,I’ll keep working⁤ for Israel’s security.”

Golan had ⁢earlier stated: “No sane person wages war against civilians, kills children for sport,or implements forced displacement policies. When Netanyahu’s ministers celebrate Gazan⁢ children starving to death, truth must‍ be spoken. This war began as a justified response to Hamas’ attack but has become an aimless disaster under this ⁤failed cabinet. What we see in Gaza today isn’t hostage rescue – all captives could’ve been freed months ago through a comprehensive deal.”
