Axios 3-hour talks between Araghchi and Wittkoff highly productive
webangah News Agency reports that sources have described the atmosphere during the Iran-US talks in Rome, citing Al Jazeera.
Axios quoted officials stating that the three-hour meeting between Iran’s Abbas Araghchi and the US’s Steve Wittkoff was “highly productive.”
The outlet also noted that Wittkoff met with Israel’s Minister of Strategic Affairs and Mossad chief on Friday before engaging in negotiations with Iran.
The fifth round of talks concluded with progress, though not yet finalized, according to Omani Foreign Minister Badr al-Busaidi. He expressed hope for resolving outstanding issues to achieve a “lasting and honorable agreement.”
