John Kerry Israel cannot destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities

Former US Secretary‍ of State says‌ Tel Aviv cannot unilaterally end Iran’s nuclear program.

John Kerry, Secretary of State under former Democratic⁤ President Barack Obama, stated that Israel lacks the⁤ capability to carry⁤ out ⁢an attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. his remarks were made during a CNN interview, as reported by webangah News Agency.

When asked about ongoing US-Iran⁤ negotiations and what agreement President Donald Trump could‌ perhaps achieve—given Kerry’s involvement in the 2015 ⁣deal—he⁤ responded: “I hope ⁢he can reach the best possible ‍agreement. I hope they make a deal. I’m glad the president is pursuing this; I think it’s critically critically important.”

Kerry added: “Why the president withdrew from an agreement ⁢that had eliminated the nuclear weapons issue is controversial. But‌ what matters is that he’s negotiating now, and I hope he reaches‍ a good deal ⁤that meets the standards we set in the previous agreement.”

He further emphasized: ⁤”I ‍think it’s critically important to note that Israel alone does not have the‍ ability to destroy Iran’s nuclear ‍program. it might inflict meaningful damage, but such an action would‍ trigger a process posing far⁣ greater risks⁢ for the entire region.”

The fifth round of indirect talks between Tehran and Washington on ⁣Iran’s nuclear program concluded yesterday in Rome.

Axios cited officials describing ⁢the three-hour negotiations as‍ “highly productive and fruitful.”
