According to webangah News Agency, citing Fox News via Mehr News Agency, the neighbor of Elias Rodriguez, the perpetrator of the attack on the Zionist regime’s embassy staff in Washington that left two dead, expressed solidarity with Gazans and denounced the killings in the enclave while calling for an immediate ceasefire.
Surrounded by reporters, he stated: “Two dead in DC versus 50,000 victims in Gaza! How many children starved to death there last night?!”
Citing historical context, he remarked: “Israel invaded Sinai and Gaza in 1956. dwight Eisenhower, then U.S.president,told the British,French,and Israelis to get out of Sinai and Gaza.”
The 71-year-old neighbor added: “If we’d had a president two years ago who could speak like that [Eisenhower], where woudl we be now?”
Describing Rodriguez’s demeanor before the attack as “calm and kind,” he held a sign reading “Ceasefire Now”, stressing that “guns and bombs won’t end this genocide” before reiterating demands to halt violence against Gazans.
