80 percent of Germans consider attack on Gaza unjustifiable
According too webangah News Agency, citing the Palestinian Data Center, a recent survey conducted by Germany’s ZDF network found that 80% of Germans consider Israel’s genocidal offensive against Gaza unjustifiable.
The figure marks an 11% increase compared to a similar poll conducted in March 2024. The survey, carried out between May 20 and May 22, involved 1,328 participants via phone and online responses. Concurrently with these findings, Sebastian hill, deputy spokesperson for Germany’s new government, expressed deep concern over Gaza’s worsening humanitarian crisis and stressed that Israel bears direct responsibility for facilitating humanitarian aid access to the region.
In recent days, major European cities—including Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, Madrid, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Athens, and Copenhagen—have witnessed mass protests in solidarity with Palestinians and against the ongoing war in Gaza. Hundreds of thousands rallied across these cities demanding an immediate end to the assault on Gaza and calling for the U.S. to halt its support for Israel.
