Israeli Army Implicated in Looting UAE Aid Shipments Bound for Gaza
According to webangah News Agency, Emirati officials reported that 23 trucks carrying humanitarian aid were stolen after entering areas controlled by Israeli forces in the Gaza Strip.
Emirati sources stated that last Wednesday, several trucks loaded wiht flour and bakery equipment entered warehouses in Gaza, raising hopes that bakeries could resume operations.
The UAE revealed plans called for 103 trucks transporting flour, gas, oil, salt, sugar and other essential goods to enter gaza to restart bakeries. However, only 24 trucks were permitted entry—with just one truck’s cargo ultimately reaching warehouses.
Sources attributed the failed deliveries to Israel forcing trucks through insecure routes were their cargo was looted in a “red zone” under Israeli military security control.
Emirati authorities urgently called on the international community and relevant parties to intervene promptly to establish safe, permanent corridors for secure and rapid aid delivery to Gaza residents.
