Massive Pro-Palestine Protests Sweep Mauritania
According to webangah news Agency, Mauritanians staged a protest from the presidential palace to the UN headquarters in Nouakchott, denouncing Zionist crimes and expressing support for Gaza.
All political parties, along with numerous organizations and groups, called for participation in the presentation.
Protesters carried placards condemning global silence over Gaza’s massacres and demanding an end to the Israeli regime’s genocide in the besieged enclave.
Participants urged people worldwide to join mass demonstrations aimed at pressuring governing bodies to isolate Israel internationally and impose economic sanctions.
The demonstrators emphasized that events unfolding in Gaza reflect the deliberate intent of Israeli leaders to carry out mass killings of its residents.
Since the start of Gaza’s war, Mauritania has held large-scale solidarity marches, with tribal communities mobilizing aid for Palestinians. Local sources report donations have reached approximately $16 million.
