Israeli Attacks on Gaza Leave Rising Toll of Dead and Wounded
The Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza has released updated casualty figures from the Israeli military’s ongoing offensive in the territory since October 7, 2023, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
The ministry stated that 53,939 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Israel launched its military operations on October 7 last year.
The Palestinian health authorities also reported that 122,797 people have been wounded throughout the conflict in the coastal enclave.
During the past 24 hours alone, hospitals received 38 more bodies of martyrs, while 204 additional injuries were recorded across Gaza’s medical facilities.
A new wave of attacks beginning March 18 has claimed 3,785 lives and injured 10,756 people, according to the latest figures.
Thousands more remain missing or buried under rubble throughout Gaza.
