Head of Gaza Rescue and Relief Operations Killed in Action
Ashraf Abunair, head of operations for gaza’s Rescue and Emergency Association, and his wife were killed in an Israeli airstrike on the Al-Zuwayda town in central Gaza.
According to webangah News Agency, local sources reported that Ashraf Abunair, the operations director of Gaza’s Rescue and Emergency organization, and his wife were killed when Israeli warplanes struck their home in the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza.
The Palestinian rescue organization stated: “We mourn the loss of Colonel Ashraf Abunair, our operations director, who was martyred alongside his wife in the Zionist regime’s attack on their home.”
The organization noted that colonel Abunair had previously served as director for Gaza’s central and Khan Younis governorates before assuming his final role as head of operations.
