Spain Urges International Community to Recognize Palestinian State
According to webangah News Agency, Spain’s Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares stated: “Our goal is to mobilize efforts to stop the Gaza war, which has turned the strip into a graveyard. We seek to strengthen momentum toward achieving a two-state solution.”
The Spanish Foreign Minister emphasized that “the current war on Gaza has no purpose other than transforming this narrow territory into a massive cemetery.” he added, “EU-Israel relations must be based on respect for human rights. We must raise our voices and take necessary actions to halt the war on Gaza. Voices need to be amplified, and concrete steps must be taken to stop what Israel’s military is doing in Gaza.”
albares further asserted: ”More countries should recognize Palestine. We must endorse the two-state solution and support the creation of a fully sovereign Palestinian state. All members of the international community ought to recognize Palestine.”
