According to webangah News Agency, citing Pakistani media reports, severe storms and torrential rains in Punjab province have resulted in 13 fatalities. Most deaths occurred due to collapsing roofs of damaged or abandoned buildings.
One additional victim died from a lightning strike during the extreme weather event.
The number of injured has reached 92, wiht most casualties suffering wounds from roof collapses or falling debris caused by the storm.
local authorities have urged residents to exercise caution amid continuing adverse weather conditions and take necessary precautions to minimize damage.
