Hamas accuses Israel of orchestrating famine in Gaza
The Hamas movement has denounced Israel’s continued prevention of humanitarian aid deliveries to the Gaza Strip in an official statement, according to a report by webangah News Agency.The Zionist regime has maintained a complete humanitarian blockade on Gaza for 11 weeks, pushing Palestinians toward famine.
The Hamas statement, released via Telegram, accused the “occupation regime” of weaponizing starvation: “The occupying regime seeks to finalize the crime of hunger in Gaza and use it as a tool to impose political and field realities.”
The movement also rejected what it called Israel’s “deceptive aid projects,” which have been dismissed by the United Nations and other international bodies.Hamas emphasized its commitment to UN-led aid distribution and monitoring, stating: “We consider any attempt to bypass or diminish this role as risky behavior.Delivering aid to Palestinians is a non-negotiable human right.”
