Spain says Palestinians must hold on to hope
Spain remains one of Europe’s leading voices in condemning the Zionist regime’s crimes against Palestinians, according to a report by webangah News Agency, citing Al Jazeera.
Following the Madrid Group meeting, spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares called for an end to the war in Gaza, stating: “The current situation is inhumane and unjust. The Palestinian people have the right to hope.”
Albares emphasized: “The solution lies in a two-state path—Palestine and Israel coexisting peacefully and securely. Today in Madrid, 20 nations gathered to advance this goal.”
Spain hosted representatives from 20 countries and international organizations to discuss ending Israel’s devastating war on Gaza and recognizing Palestinian statehood.
The two-state solution has gained traction among several European and Arab nations. however, Benjamin netanyahu, Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, has vehemently rejected any independent Palestinian state, claiming it contradicts Israel’s interests.
