Diasilva says Israel seeks to expel Palestinians from their land through genocide
Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has accused Israel of committing “genocide” against Palestinians, stating the current phase of Zionist regime aggression seeks to forcibly displace them from their homeland, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Lula strongly condemned the Israeli airstrike that killed nine of Palestinian doctor Alaa Najjar’s ten children, calling it yet another “shameful and cowardly act” by the Zionist regime.
The Brazilian president noted that Dr.Najjar’s sole surviving son and his wife remain hospitalized in critical condition.
“Israel has launched a war against defenseless civilians where innocent women and children are targeted daily,” Lula emphasized.
“This is no longer about self-defense claims, counterterrorism efforts, or attempts to free Hamas-held hostages. What we witness today in Gaza is pure revenge,” he added.
