First European country takes action against Zionist companies in occupied territories
The webangah News Agency reports, citing Al Jazeera, that the Financial Times has revealed Ireland plans to introduce legislation banning trade with Israeli companies operating in occupied territories—the first European country to take such action.
Previously,nations including France and Canada—despite supporting what thay describe as Israel’s “brutal attacks” on Gaza—have called for an end to the war.
A France- and saudi Arabia-hosted international meeting in New York from June 17-20 is also expected to formally recognize Palestinian statehood during discussions.
Gideon Sa’ar, foreign minister of the Zionist regime, warned that any move toward recognizing palestine would prompt retaliation. He claimed Tel Aviv would respond by occupying the West Bank.
Sa’ar made these remarks during direct talks with his British, french, and other foreign ministerial counterparts.
