ISIS militants attack eastern Syria for third consecutive day

The Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF),​ known as ⁢QSD, reported that ISIS militants launched a fresh attack on the Al-Sabha area in eastern Deir ez-Zor’s countryside yesterday, according to webangah news ‌Agency.

The clashes between QSD forces and ISIS fighters mark the third straight day of consecutive assaults by ISIS on ‍QSD checkpoints. The SDF also noted a recent escalation in ISIS attacks across the region.

Instability and insecurity have intensified in Syria as the overthrow of Bashar ⁤al-Assad’s government.
