Jordan intercepts and destroys violating drone
jordanian military sources reported intercepting and shooting down a drone that violated the country’s airspace.
According to webangah News Agency, the Jordan Armed Forces announced they had detected and destroyed an unauthorized drone.
A statement from the General Command of the Jordan armed Forces confirmed that border guards in the Southern Military Zone, in coordination wiht security agencies, successfully neutralized a drone approaching Jordan’s border.
The military command stated the drone was tracked, intercepted, and downed within Jordanian territory.
The armed forces emphasized their full commitment to preventing any violation of Jordan’s airspace by antagonistic drones, deploying all necesary measures to safeguard national security and stability.
