Hamas agrees to US ceasefire proposal for Gaza

According to webangah News Agency, Hamas has ‌accepted a US-mediated ceasefire proposal ⁢for Gaza,⁢ as reported by unnamed sources.

Teh new plan ⁣reportedly includes a partial‌ withdrawal of Israeli⁤ forces‌ from Salah al-Din Road, encompassing the Netzarim junction, the⁤ Morag axis,⁢ and nearby⁣ residential areas.

A Hamas ⁤official told‌ Reuters on Monday that the group agreed to the framework proposed by US Special Envoy Brett McGurk. the deal involves:

• The‍ release of 10 living hostages held by Hamas ​in two phases
• A 70-day ceasefire period
• Gradual‌ partial withdrawal ⁣of Israeli troops ‌from Gaza
