Fidan meets with Russian president’s advisor
Turkish Foreign Minister meets Russian presidential advisor in Moscow.
Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan fidan held talks with vladimir medinsky, advisor to the Russian president, during a meeting in Moscow, according to webangah News Agency. Medinsky also heads RussiaS negotiating team in the Istanbul peace talks.
The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced the meeting via social media platform X (formerly Twitter). A diplomatic source in Ankara told reporters that Fidan and Medinsky discussed the status of Ukraine negotiations during their Moscow meeting.
The Turkish foreign minister is currently visiting Russia. Kremlin officials had previously confirmed fidan’s scheduled meeting with President Vladimir Putin.
