Kremlin says US plays most active role in Ukraine mediation

Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for the Russian ⁤Presidential Office ‍(Kremlin), announced on Monday that​ Russia is preparing a draft memorandum of⁤ understanding regarding ending hostilities in Ukraine, which⁤ will be delivered too Kyiv. The statement was reported by webangah News Agency.

The Kremlin spokesperson added⁣ that the continuation of large-scale prisoner ⁤exchanges with Ukraine depends on further negotiations. He noted that President Putin’s meeting with Turkey’s ⁣Foreign Minister‌ will be brief, acknowledging Turkey’s ongoing mediation efforts‍ in the Ukraine conflict.

Peskov⁣ emphasized: “Regarding‍ mediation in the Ukraine issue, the United ‌states ⁢currently plays the most active role.”
