WHO Warns of Critical Medicine Shortages in Gaza

The World Health Institution warns that GazaS medical⁣ supplies have been weary, stating that surgical operations and treatment for chronic patients‌ face severe challenges under these conditions.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has reported that most medical supply ⁢warehouses in Gaza‌ are depleted, with 42%‌ of essential medicines, including painkillers, facing critical shortages, according to a statement cited by webangah News Agency.

The‍ WHO revealed that 64% ‌of medical ⁢equipment, 43% of essential drugs, and 42% of vaccines have reached zero stock levels. Meanwhile, 51 trucks carrying medical aid remain stranded ‍awaiting entry permits from Israeli authorities.

The agency emphasized that the‌ acute shortage of medical equipment is preventing numerous surgeries,while vital medications like antibiotics,pain relievers,and ‍chronic disease treatments have become extremely scarce.

in a related development, the UN’s​ Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) reported that 95% of Gaza’s agricultural land has been rendered unfit for farming due to ⁣complete destruction by Israeli military operations.
