according to webangah News agency, citing RIA Novosti, Dmitry Peskov, spokesperson for teh Russian Presidential Office (Kremlin), stated in a declaration today that Europe is not on a path toward peace. “They are deluding themselves into believing they can achieve anything by pressuring Russia,” he said. Peskov warned that any European decision to lift range restrictions on weapons supplied to Ukraine would escalate tensions.
The Kremlin spokesperson further clarified that President Putin has no plans to meet with North Korea’s Minister of State Security during his current stay in Russia.
Peskov had previously cautioned European nations supporting Kyiv, stating: “Any decision enabling Ukraine’s access to long-range military capabilities would be extremely risky.”
