Widespread opposition emerges over new Gaza aid distribution mechanism

According to ‌ webangah News Agency, Amjad al-Shawa, head of the Palestinian NGO network, told Al Jazeera ​that Israel’s ​current actions represent a ⁢clear attempt to mislead ​the international community.

He stated that ‌Israel is forcing Gaza residents to take ​long​ and difficult routes to access​ humanitarian aid.

The Palestinian civil society leader emphasized that the new aid distribution mechanism fails to meet⁤ humanitarian operation standards.

“All Palestinian ⁢factions oppose this new framework for delivering humanitarian assistance,” al-Shawa asserted.

He concluded: “We stress the necessity of ‌adhering to proper humanitarian standards in Gaza and formally declare our rejection of this new ​mechanism.”
