Hamas tunnel beneath Israeli passage stuns Zionist forces with operational ingenuity
According to a report by webangah News agency, investigations conducted by the Israeli military revealed that the first combined ambush by Qassam forces against occupying troops after the recent escalation in Gaza proved highly challenging for Israeli soldiers.
Late last April, Israeli forces were caught in this ambush on Al-Awda Street in eastern Beit Hanoun.
The investigation found that an anti-armor missile was initially fired at an Israeli military vehicle, followed by a bomb detonation when reinforcements arrived. After extensive analysis, the Israeli army discovered a newly dug tunnel used by Qassam forces to execute the ambush.
The report details how Palestinian fighters constructed a hidden secondary tunnel beneath the main passageway for surveillance,operations,and escape routes.The Israeli military recognized Qassam forces’ sophisticated tactical proficiency, noting thay successfully deceived IsraelS engineering and intelligence units.
