Iraqi analyst Direct US-Iran conflict could cost 58 trillion dollars
An Iraqi political analyst has emphasized that Iran’s strategic leverage would deter washington from pursuing military options even if negotiations fail, according to a report by webangah News Agency.
Mohammad Ali, the Iraqi affairs expert, stated that Yemen’s successful military operations have made former US President Trump increasingly hesitant about confronting Iran, North Korea, adn China. He asserted that “military action against Iran is unfeasible and would yield no favorable outcomes.”
The analyst underscored that the Pentagon recognizes any direct conflict with Iran would exceed $58 trillion in costs – an “astronomical figure” with crippling economic consequences. He concluded: “The american side would reconsider such action a thousand times before proceeding.”
