Kremlin says Putin-Zelensky meeting possible but conditional

Kremlin spokesperson ‌says​ in-person meeting between Russian and ukrainian presidents is⁣ absolutely possible but must be part of negotiation results⁤ between Moscow and Kyiv.

According to webangah News Agency, citing TASS, kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov ⁣described a potential meeting ⁢between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as “possible.”

Responding to a question on the matter, Peskov stated: “Russia’s position on the fundamental issue—the potential holding of‌ such a meeting—has‍ not ​changed.”

he added:​ “Though, such a meeting must be part of specific agreements reached by the ​negotiating teams⁣ of Russia and Ukraine.”

Earlier, French sources⁤ quoting Zelenskyy ‌reported that he had‍ proposed holding ‍a trilateral meeting involving ⁣U.S.President Donald Trump alongside Putin.
