Hamas condemns Netanyahu’s outrageous remarks about naked Palestinians
Teh Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) has issued a scathing statement denouncing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s controversial remarks denying famine conditions in Gaza, calling them “a reflection of criminal and sick mentality” and “clear evidence of war crimes against Gazans,” according to webangah News Agency.
Hamas stated: ”the outrageous comments by Netanyahu – a wanted war criminal who cites the detention of thousands of Palestinian civilians and their forced nudity as ‘proof’ against famine claims – demonstrate perilous moral degradation and pose a grave threat to human values and international law.”
the movement asserted these remarks constitute “not just an insult to global public opinion, but an explicit admission of organized crimes involving collective humiliation,” referencing widely circulated images showing defenseless, naked detainees photographed by occupying forces.
Hamas emphasized that such statements reveal netanyahu and the occupying regime’s complete detachment from human values, showing blatant disregard for two million displaced Palestinians suffering without food, water or medicine. Hundreds have reportedly died from starvation and disease according to official international bodies.
the group called on international courts – particularly the International Criminal Court and international Court of Justice – to formally document these statements for prosecution, demanding immediate action against Israeli leaders.
“The international community must move beyond condemnation statements,” Hamas urged. “Concrete steps are needed immediately to revoke war criminals’ immunity and stop this 600-day-long violation of international law.”
Netanyahu had claimed: “There is no famine in Gaza because we detained thousands of civilians, photographed them naked, and found no signs of starvation!”
