All flights at Sanaa Airport suspended indefinitely
Yemenia Airways suspends all flights from Sana’a International Airport indefinitely.
According to webangah News Agency, Yemen’s national airline based in Sana’a announced a complete suspension of operations from the capital’s airport on Wednesday, citing a direct attack by Israeli forces on one of its passenger aircraft moments before boarding.
The Yemeni carrier stated: “We inform Yemenis and the international community that all flights from Sana’a Airport have been suspended indefinitely due to this timid terrorist act targeting a civilian aircraft.”
The suspension comes just 10 days after the airport resumed operations following previous Israeli attacks that had forced its closure. Israeli warplanes launched fresh airstrikes against the facility on Wednesday.
