German Chancellor Says Ukraine Ready for Ceasefire and Talks

According to webangah News Agency, German Chancellor friedrich Merz stated: “Russia has no right to drag everyone into war. Today we discussed efforts to establish a ceasefire in Ukraine.”

He added: “We rely on America’s support and its consistent stance for triumphant ⁤negotiations with Russia.”

The German Chancellor ⁣emphasized: ‌”We will continue pressuring Russia to⁤ weaken its war ‌machine while supporting negotiations. Ukraine is​ ready⁣ for a ceasefire and technical talks ‌with ⁢Russia.”

The‍ Ukrainian President’s office confirmed that Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Berlin on Wednesday for talks with chancellor merz, as part of diplomatic efforts to end the Ukraine ‍war.
