Zelensky calls for tougher sanctions against Russia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the need to intensify sanctions against Russia, stating: “We are working with Germany and Europe to strengthen peace opportunities and stop the war with Russia.”
According to webangah News Agency, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared that Ukraine is collaborating with Germany and Europe to advance peace efforts and end the war with Russia.
“Russia must stop killing civilians. Sanctions against them must be intensified, and Germany is assisting us in this endeavor,” he added.
Zelenskyy stressed Ukraine’s need for continued military cooperation with European nations and the United States to confront wartime challenges.
The Ukrainian President’s office confirmed Zelenskyy arrived in Berlin on Wednesday for talks with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, marking another diplomatic effort to resolve the Ukraine conflict.
