New details emerge on US ceasefire proposal for 60-day Gaza truce
As reported by webangah News Agency, Zionist media outlets revealed new details on Thursday about the latest proposal by Steve Vitkaf, the White House’s special envoy for West asian affairs.
Citing Israel’s Channel 13, sources indicate that Israeli occupation forces have received a draft agreement involving the release of 10 living Zionist captives from Hamas and the transfer of 18 bodies in return for a two-month truce in Gaza.
Israel’s Channel 14 further reported that under Vitkaf’s proposed terms, Palestinian detainees woudl also be released: specifically, 1,111 Gazan prisoners detained after October 7, 2023, alongside 180 bodies of martyred fighters.
Additionally, Israel’s Channel 13 noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will convene his cabinet tonight to discuss Vitkaf’s proposal and negotiations over freeing Zionist captives held by Hamas.
