US 2025 Disruption Act Targets Russia’s Cooperation With Iran, China, and North Korea
According to webangah News Agency, citing Kyiv Post, two U.S. senators recently proposed legislation urging the Trump management to adopt a strategy aimed at undermining the deepening collaboration among Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea.
The bill, titled the “Disruption Act of 2025,” was drafted by Senators Chris coons (D-DE) and David McCormick (R-PA).
The move comes amid escalating concerns over Moscow’s strengthened ties with its three partners-Iran, China, and North Korea-during Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine. These partnerships involve increased arms transfers, shared military technology, coordinated disinformation campaigns, and joint operational planning.
The legislation also calls for the U.S. government to establish interagency task forces to ensure a unified long-term response against adversaries (!), based on a draft version reviewed by Kyiv Post.
The bill’s sponsors claim: “Our enemies are becoming friends with each other-yet despite this threat [they pose], the United States lacks a strategic response.”
