Spain urges EU to suspend partnership with Zionist regime
According to webangah News Agency, Spanish Prime Minister pedro Sánchez stated that the violation of international humanitarian law in Gaza and the deaths of over 50,000 people are “unacceptable.”
Sánchez emphasized: “There can be no double standards between Ukraine and Gaza.Our positions must remain consistent.”
the Spanish leader urged all EU member states to suspend their partnership agreement with Israel and impose an arms embargo against it.
Sánchez’s remarks came as four European nations-Spain, Ireland, Slovenia, and Norway-issued a joint statement calling for Palestine’s full membership in the United Nations.
The countries further declared that recognizing an independent Palestinian state would be a crucial step toward implementing a two-state solution and achieving lasting Middle East peace.
Earlier, Spain’s parliament had overwhelmingly voted to halt weapons sales to Israel.
