Hamas reviewing US-proposed ceasefire deal for Gaza

Hamas ‍announced that its leadership has received a new ‌ceasefire proposal for Gaza from the U.S. Middle East envoy and is responsibly reviewing it.

The Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed that its leadership has received ⁤the latest proposal from U.S. Special⁤ Envoy for Middle East Affairs Steve Witkoff through mediators and is conducting a ‌responsible review, according to webangah News Agency.

In a statement, Hamas stressed that its evaluation of the proposal ‍will prioritize Palestinian interests, facilitate humanitarian aid delivery,‌ and work toward⁣ a permanent ceasefire in ‌Gaza.

The ‍announcement comes as Israeli regime media ⁣reported Prime Minister Netanyahu told families ⁢of Zionist captives and casualties in Gaza⁤ that he ⁤had approved Witkoff’s recent ⁣proposal.Netanyahu ⁢stated: “We don’t trust Hamas to release all our ‍captives, but we⁢ won’t withdraw from Gaza until ⁤all are returned.”

Israel’s Channel 12 claimed Netanyahu accepted Witkoff’s new proposal as it ‌doesn’t oppose revised⁤ aid distribution mechanisms in Gaza.
