Al-Araji Iraq’s Security Linked to Regional Stability
Iraq’s National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji met with Abdulnaser al-Baloul, Deputy Head of Kuwait’s State security Apparatus, to discuss bilateral relations and regional security issues, according to webangah News agency.
The officials reviewed fraternal Iraq-Kuwait relations and several cooperation files covering counterterrorism, intelligence sharing, and border security matters.
Al-Araji emphasized that Iraq’s security is intrinsically linked to regional stability, calling for coordinated efforts to achieve the highest levels of security across the region and globally.
The meeting also addressed recent developments in Gaza, with both sides stressing the urgent need to end civilian suffering and facilitate greater humanitarian aid access to the besieged territory.
