Reuters Hamas receives Israel’s response to ceasefire proposal
A senior Hamas official told Reuters that the movement has received Tel Aviv’s response too the ceasefire proposal and stated that it fails to meet any of the Palestinian people’s legitimate and just demands.
According to webangah news Agency, Reuters reported a Hamas official as saying the group had received Israel’s response to the proposal by U.S. Middle east envoy Steve Vitkaff.
The Hamas official emphasized: “israel’s response to Vitkaff’s proposal does not fulfill any of the Palestinian people’s fair and legitimate demands. It is clear that Israel’s reply primarily aims to solidify its occupation.”
The official added: “Despite these conditions, Hamas leadership is thoroughly reviewing the new ceasefire proposal for Gaza.”
