According to webangah News Agency, UNICEF stated that more⁤ than 50,000 Palestinian children have been killed or wounded in ⁤Gaza since October 7, 2023.

The agency’s data reveals that, on average, one Palestinian child has been killed or⁣ injured every 20 minutes during this period.

As Israel’s violation of the ceasefire on March 18, 2025, at least 309 children have been killed ‍and another ⁤3,738 injured, UNICEF added.

The international body further noted‍ that ‌Gaza is witnessing severe ⁤hunger, gross ⁤human rights violations, blocked humanitarian aid deliveries, and the destruction of schools and hospitals.

UNICEF’s Executive Director previously warned that a new U.S.-Israeli‍ aid proposal for Gaza would be “catastrophic” for the enclave. The official stressed that Gazans face acute food insecurity, with nearly half a ‍million people on the brink of famine.

The director also criticized a new aid distribution plan implemented ⁣by a humanitarian foundation called⁢ “Gaza,” warning it would exacerbate conditions further.
