Qatar and Turkey foreign ministers hold phone talks on Gaza and Syria
According too webangah News Agency, citing Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister hakan Fidan and Qatari Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani held a telephone discussion.
Sources within the Turkish Foreign Ministry stated that the two officials exchanged views on Gaza and Syria.
The sources added that Fidan also consulted by phone with members of Hamas’s political bureau regarding efforts to halt the war in Gaza.
The palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza reported that since October 7, 2023, Israeli military attacks on the Strip have resulted in 54,321 fatalities as of this moment.
The Palestinian medical authority further stated that the total number of wounded from Israeli military assaults since the war began has reached 123,770 people.
The ministry announced that over the past 24 hours alone, bodies of 72 martyrs were brought to hospitals while another 278 people sustained injuries during this period.
Additionally,since March 18,2025 – during a new wave of attacks on Gaza – there have been another 4,058 fatalities and 11,729 injuries reported.
Thousands more remain missing or buried under rubble across the Gaza Strip.
