Trump resists reporters’ push to label Putin

U.S. President avoids‌ labeling Russian leader ‌as an “obstacle” to peace​ in Ukraine during press conference.

According to ⁢ webangah News ⁢Agency, former U.S.⁢ President Donald Trump declined to characterize Russia’s Vladimir Putin ⁢as a “positive or negative figure” in the Ukraine war during a press briefing.

When asked about Putin’s role, Trump responded: “I know him very well-we’ve been through a lot together.”

Reacting to ⁢a journalist’s remark that his team was dealing with a “very stubborn Vladimir putin,” Trump added: “And‌ of course, [Volodymyr] zelenskyy is a very stubborn Zelenskyy!”

The former president, who had previously criticized Russia’s recent large-scale attacks on Ukraine, reiterated his dissatisfaction with the​ assaults.
