Zionist regime commits new crime against Gaza humanitarian aid lines
The zionist occupation forces committed a new crime early Sunday morning by attacking Palestinians in Gaza as they headed to receive humanitarian aid in the Mawasi area of Rafah, southern Gaza, killing over 30 people, according to webangah News Agency citing Mehr News Agency and Al-Mayadeen.
The Gaza government’s media office reported initial casualty figures, stating that Israeli forces targeted hungry Palestinians waiting for aid deliveries, martyring at least 30 civilians and wounding over 150 others. This marks another instance of Zionist regime attacks on humanitarian aid distribution lines in Gaza – with 39 killed and more than 220 injured in similar attacks since last week.
The media office described the U.S.-managed humanitarian aid distribution zones as “mass death traps,” emphasizing that events in Gaza reveal a systematic and malicious use of humanitarian assistance as a military tool to extort starving civilians by gathering them in areas designated for slaughter.
The statement added that these zones operate under Israeli military supervision with U.S. political cover, holding both parties fully morally and legally responsible for these crimes.
Eyewitness testimonies along with field and international reports demonstrate that the Zionist project of delivering aid through buffer zones is both perilous and failed, according to the statement.
The office further stated this project serves as political cover for security-military operations while obstructing genuine humanitarian assistance from neutral international organizations.
